The Pen, the Paper & the Hand

"Hello," said the pen.
"Let's make this happen."
"You write," said the paper.
"And I'll stay right."
"Don't forget me!" cried the hand
"You must understand, I move you two brands!"
"Fine then, I give in, so let's just begin."
And that's how the first story was written.

Simon, Mandy & Bill

Two companions lived on a hill
Their names were Mandy & Bill
One day Mandy went walking
With Bill behind talking
But Mandy wasn't listening
For she saw something glistening
She hoped it was diamond
But instead it was Simon
A guy they had lost long ago
He was dirty and rags
And surrounded by bags
That he had won when he went to a show
"Where have you been? You don't look very clean."
"Yes," Simon said. "I discovered a machine."
"What is a machine? One thing we've not seen."
"A machine makes things very clean."
"Then why didn't you use it?"
"Because I don't have it."
"Let's go, then. You've wasted our time."

Arthur and Martha

There once lived a man named Arthur

Later on his walk he met Martha

"Good Morning," he said

"Would you like to be wed?"

"To you? I don't mind.

No one else I can find."

"Then we'll be married," said Arthur. "Me and Martha."

So the very next day they got married

At the very end Martha was carried

"You're quite heavy," Arthur said.

"It's the dress, made of lead."

And they laughed as they were walking ahead

The tissue & the tree

The tissue had an issue

With the very old oak tree

He complained that all the paper was bad for the industry

"So what?" said the tree

"That doesn't bother me."

"You selfish old tree! Just look at me!"

The tree looked at the tissue, who had a big issue

And a smile crept on his old bark

"At least you are free and not living in a park."

"So I shouldn't be hateful? I should be grateful;

At least I'm untouched with no marks!"

The Frog and the Girl

One day a little frog met

A girl whose clothes were wet

She sobbed & sobbed

And the frog’s heart throbbed

So he finally became her pet

‘I’ll carry you home,’ she said.

‘I’ll let you sleep in my bed.’

‘Good,’ said the frog, who was used to a log.

‘May I share your food and drink?’

The girl turned pink, but the frog gave a wink

‘Only kidding, but I’d like to share the sink.’
